RIG ARTS is inviting families to join its family-friendly A Slow Sunday in the Garden session at The Drying Green Community Garden.
The event will take place from 11am to 12pm behind South West Library on Old Inverkip Road, PA16 9HG.
Visitors can stroll around the garden to find a snail, bring one from their garden, or choose a contender from the racing bucket.
Participants will name their racer, create a backstory and complete a profile card.
The snails will race towards the finish line while visitors cheer them on.
Hot chocolate will be available as the races end. No booking is needed, and anyone can attend.
The session is part of Ieva Grigelionyte’s Playgarden workshop series and Inverclyde Culture Collective’s Cultivate project. It is funded by Creative Scotland.
