PEOPLE with diabetes and those supporting them are being invited to join a new peer support group in Greenock.

Your Voice Inverclyde will host the free group at its Living Well Hub, 51 Hamilton Way. Meetings will be held every second Friday, from 1.30pm to 2.30pm.

Sessions are open to anyone living with diabetes, people recently diagnosed, those with pre-diabetes, people managing diabetes during pregnancy, and relatives or carers supporting someone with the condition.

Organisers say attendees will be able to share experiences, ask questions and meet others who understand the challenges of living with diabetes.

The initiative is supported by Diabetes Scotland and Inverclyde Health and Social Care Partnership.
