Pic1: It took a bit of work to coax modest Co-op worker Bryan Sharkey to pose up for the Tele camera after he raised £1,000 for cancer charities. But with some help from his supporting colleagues, he stepped forward to hopefully encourage others to follow his example.

Nobody can be in any doubt that any attempt to improve the ailing West Blackhall Street area can only be a good thing.
