PERHAPS Stuart McMillan and Neil Bibby can work together for Inverclyde now that they agree that there is great potential in the area to redevelop the wind, water and storage capacity for the benefit of the area.
In addition to expanding the Wind Turbines above Inverclyde we can harness the storage capacity we have in the dams above the towns, and have the additional benefit of reducing flooding by the reintroducing the management of water levels.
This is a fast moving area and an example of this is the use of microturbines. They can generate electricity from drinking water pipes. This is something that may be considered locally due to our situation.
