IT is such a shame that Inverclyde Council doesn’t intend following Glasgow and Edinburgh in banning pavement parking.

Irrespective of how many new dwellings have been constructed on what streets/roads, it shouldn’t be used as an excuse to allow lazy parking practices to carry on.

Yet another potential (short term, I agree) money spinner dumped by Inverclyde, alongside the idea of actually apprehending and fining those townsfolk fly-tipping throughout the area.

For a council that constantly pleads poverty, they certainly don’t appear to want to upset the cosy apple cart and actually monetise miscreants committing crimes.
