Teenager Louis Ware has been called up to the Scotland squad for a match which takes place this weekend.
Hot prospect Louis will be part of the national under-15s team which will be taking on Cumbria on Sunday.
Officials at Glenpark are delighted that the player is to feature for the national side following his impressive work at club level.
The club tweeted: “Congratulations to Louis Ware on his selection for Scotland Under-15s to play Cumbria at Ayr this Sunday. Well deserved.” The announcement is another coup for the club, as it comes hot on the heels of news earlier this week that Ware’s clubmate Neil Flack is to captain his country in a series of matches next month.
Flack will skipper the Scotland Under-19 team which will play Ireland, Netherlands and Jersey in Jersey from 11-19 July in the ICC Under-19 World Cup qualifying tournament.
