MORTON's Scottish Cup clash against Celtic will take place on Sunday March 6.
The draw was made over two weeks ago and both clubs and supporters have been kept waiting for confirmation of the date from the SFA.
The quarter final tie at Parkhead will have a noon kick-off.
This is the first time Morton have made the last eight of the cup since 1999, when they also faced Celtic.
The last time the two sides met Morton pulled off an astonishing upset, sending the Scottish champions crashing out of the Leage Cup back in September 2013, with Dougie Imrie the goal hero.
