RUARIDH Langan has revealed he has spoken to Morton boss Jim Duffy about heading out on loan and says he’d happily grab the opportunity if it came around.
Langan recently penned a new deal at Cappielow until the summer but his playing time has been minimal with the Ton first-team.
The 19-year-old insists that if Duffy wants to farm him out to get more competitive experience he would jump at the chance.
He told the Tele: “The manager has said that he’ll be waiting for the next few weeks to decide what to do. Whether that means he’ll be sending me out on loan or what not, remains to be seen.
“The option of a loan is something I’d certainly think about because you want to be playing. It also gives the manager a chance to see what I’m like in competitive football and it doesn’t feel like he’d be throwing me in at the deep end.
“It’s just a case of waiting to see, really, I think I’ll probably end up on loan if the option came up because I’d like to be playing.”
