MORTON have completed their third signing in the January transfer window after goalkeeper Conor Brennan joined the club.

The Tele reported earlier this week how Brennan had been lined up by Jim Duffy, and he has now finalised a deal until the end of the season.

The 23-year-old Northern Irish shot-stopper has been with NIFL Premiership outfit Ballymena United recently and previously enjoyed stints at Leicester City, Kilmarnock, Stranraer and Raith Rovers.

Brennan goes straight into the squad for tomorrow's cup tie against Dunfermline.

Ton boss Jim Duffy said: “We’ve made no secret of the fact we’ve been trying to get a goalkeeper for a good number of weeks now, once we found out Jamie McGowan had to get an operation on his shoulder.

“We looked around and took our time, and we’re delighted to be able to get a goalkeeper of Conor’s ability, and, although he’s still a young guy, he’s got good experience behind him."
