A SECOND half double from Moussa Dembele and a 90th-minute effort from Odsonne Edouard put an end to Morton’s William Hill Scottish Cup hopes at a freezing cold Celtic Park.
Dembele headed home the opener after 62 minutes but his second came from the penalty spot - after Ton’s Michael Doyle was wrongly judged to have impeded the Frenchman in the box.
Edouard’s injury-time goal, to put Celtic into the semi-finals, merely rubbed salt into the wounds of a gritty and determined Ton side, who on the day were good value.
