JIM Duffy’s Morton returned from the Kingdom of Fife with a precious league point for their efforts after the woodwork came to their rescue twice during the second half at East End Park.
Pars midfielder Tom Beadling was denied by the crossbar, while substitute Daniel Armstrong thumped a shot off the left-hand post in a match the home side probably should have won.
That said, Ton’s ability to pick up points - even when they are not at their best - will hopefully augur well for their promotion play-off push.
