MORTON will appoint Ray McKinnon as their new manager tomorrow.
The club have been without a first team boss since parting company with Jim Duffy at the end of the season.
The Tele understands that an agreement was reached with McKinnon after talks which were completed earlier today.
Former Ton favourite David Hopkin had been heavily linked with the post but he has still not decided on his future, a week after leading Livingston to the Premiership.
McKinnon, 47, was sacked by Dundee United last season after an underwhelming start to the campaign.
He had gone to Tannadice after a successful stint in charge of Raith Rovers.
Ton have called a press conference for tomorrow morning to officially announce the appointment.
