MORTON ended 2018 on a high after picking up their first league win in seven games with a 2-1 victory over Partick Thistle on Saturday.
The Ton took an early lead when Scott Tiffoney capitalised on a defensive mix-up by the hosts at Firhill with a lovely chip from 25 yards out.
Craig Slater pulled one back for the Jags just after the hour mark with a well-struck effort.
But Charlie Telfer latched onto a perfect through-ball from Reghan Tumilty 10 minutes
from time to give Morton their first win in the Championship in just under two months.
