MORTON let a half-time lead slip with some calamitous defending as Alloa Athletic came from behind to inflict a 2-1 defeat on them at the Indodrill Stadium on Saturday.

Chris Millar netted early on for the visitors with a well-taken shot outside the box on 12 minutes.

But the hosts came back into the game in the second period, and Alan Trouten scored from the penalty spot after he was brought down in the box by Ton goalkeeper Ryan Scully.

And 11 minutes later the Wasps took the lead in bizarre circumstances, with Kerr Waddell slicing the ball into his own net after Rory McKeown’s clearance was blocked and spun towards his own goal-line.
