MORTON and Dunfermline played out a goalless draw which did little to enhance each side’s play-off hopes.
Chances were few and far between in Greenock on Saturday, with the Ton failing to register a shot on goal during the game.
Both teams had a point to prove after disappointing Scottish Cup exits, but the two sides had to settle for a share of the spoils.
The result kept Morton in sixth, moving them to within one point of the play-off places, while Dunfermline remained in seventh.
