MORTON are looking into fixing their fixture pile-up with Jonatan Johansson’s side facing three games in the space of seven days.
The Ton’s home clash against Falkirk has been moved to Friday March 1, to be shown on the new BBC Scotland channel.
But it puts more pressure on the squad with the club now having three games in a week.
The Greenock outfit head up to the Highlands to take on Inverness Caley Thistle on Saturday February 23.
Johansson’s side then host Queen of the South on the Tuesday night that week, making it a hectic period for Morton.
The Ton have a free weekend available this month, but with Queen’s progressing into the next round of the Scottish Cup, they play Aberdeen when Morton are without a game.
Johansson said it was something the club would look into changing — if they can.
He told the Tele: “It’s not ideal, but it’s something we’re looking into at the moment.
“We got the schedule earlier this week and it’s something we need to look at.
“With Queen of the South making it through in the cup, we do have a busy period and we’ll try and work something out so we don’t have such a pile-up there.”
