MORTON striker Bob McHugh says the new attacking players at the club will only get better this season.
Greg Kiltie made his first start for the Ton on Saturday against Dundee United, impressing on the wing and helping to provide the cross for McHugh’s goal.
Andrew Dallas also came close to scoring his first goal for the Cappielow outfit, having a goal ruled out for offside in his second game for his new team.
With Bournemouth’s Keelan O’Connell also being an unused substitute against United, McHugh believes Ton now have extra firepower.
He told the Tele: “There are boys who are still getting up to speed. Most of them played pretty well on Saturday.
“But the more minutes and training with us they’ll show that extra bit of competition and quality up top so that we can keep going the way we’re going, scoring more goals and giving the boys up in the frontline more help.”
