MORTON came from behind for a second game in a row to earn a valuable point against Queen of the South at the weekend.
The hosts struck late on in the first half at Palmerston when Kyle Jacobs’ thunderbolt from 25 yards gave Queens a deserved lead at the break.
Gary Naysmith’s side had a few opportunities to extend their lead, but Charlie Telfer’s low driven effort brought the Ton back level on 64 minutes, with both teams having a chance to snatch victory at the end.
