MORTON ended an eight-game winless streak in style with a vital 2-0 victory over Falkirk in the battle to avoid relegation.
In the fight to avoid the drop the Ton controlled the game from start to finish at the Falkirk Stadium, and a bright start to the second half saw them clinch two goals in the first nine minutes.
Greg Kiltie scored his fourth in five games for Jonatan Johansson’s side after 47 minutes with a composed finish inside the box.
The Killie man helped set up the second after a Falkirk defensive mix-up, supplying the ball for Charlie Telfer to double the visitors’ advantage.
