DAVID Hopkin’s Morton side were blown away by Motherwell’s second-half display in Friday’s Betfred Cup tie at Fir Park as they went down 4-0 to the Premiership outfit.
A James Scott brace and goals from Jermaine Hylton and Liam Donnelly gave Motherwell the three points to take control of Group E as the Ton looked to build on their crushing 6-1 win over Dumbarton last Tuesday.
