MORTON made amends for Friday night’s Betfred Cup defeat to Motherwell by hammering Annan Athletic in a dominant display at Galabank.
Braces from Aidan Nesbitt, Nicky Cadden and a Robbie Muirhead goal moved the Ton up to second place in Group E ahead of Saturday’s showdown with Queen of the South at Cappielow.
