ALEXANDER Easdale believes scoring his first goal at Cappielow would be the perfect way to repay his family for their support.
The Morton youngster made his debut off the bench against Inverness Caley Thistle in the Tunnock’s Caramel Wafer Cup on Saturday.
Easdale says his family have helped him a lot in his career and he would love the fledgling chance to celebrate his maiden goal in front of his nearest and dearest at Cappielow.
He told the Tele: “Hopefully the first goal comes soon.
“There would be nothing better than to score for the first team at Cappielow.
“I’ve got a few family members who sit in the Cowshed, so to be able to score a goal and to go and celebrate in front of the fans would be brilliant. I’d be delighted, it would be a great moment.
“My dad was up at the game to support me and he came and spoke to me after the game to congratulate me.
“I have family who come and support us home and away, it’s great to have that kind of support as it helps me to kick on.”
