STRIKER Bob McHugh wants to repay the Morton faithful for putting in the miles with a victory over Dundee

Ton supporters have travelled the length of the country only to see their side suffer three defeats in a row against Inverness and Queen of the South.

The Ton hitman now hopes to give them something to cheer about by securing a positive result against the Taysiders as they return to Cappielow on Saturday.

He told the Tele: “It’s a game you don’t need to get yourself up for, one that we’re all looking forward to.

“We’ve done a fair bit of travelling over the last few weeks having played Inverness and Queen of the South and we’ve got some disappointing results.

“We’ve been working hard in training so hopefully we can put in a good performance for the fans back at Cappielow. The fans have been great: we’re all looking forward to being back down here and hopefully they can come out in numbers like they usually do to support us and drive us on.

“It’s a hard league to be in this year, so we need every bit of support that we can get. It’s up to us though to give them something to cheer about when they go back up the road.”
