AIDAN Nesbitt is aiming to force his way back into the Morton first team after a recent spell on the bench.

The winger was out of action for a month with a hand injury and since returning to full fitness he has made just one start.

Nesbitt, who came off the bench late on against Ayr United on Tuesday, is determined to win back his place in David Hopkin’s line-up, starting with tonight’s clash at Dundee.

He told the Tele: “It’s been a bit stop-start since I came back so hopefully I can get some rhythm back into my game.

“Obviously I missed four games because of my hand. I’m looking forward to Friday night.

“Momentum is such an important thing in this league, our away form has been nothing compared to our home form, but we’ve already got a positive result against Dundee to take into the game.

“Dundee will be looking to get a bit of revenge off us, but we can’t look too much into that.

“We know that our away form hasn’t been good enough and we need to try and change that at some point . I don’t see why we can’t get that first result tomorrow against Dundee.”
