MORTON slipped down into the relegation play-off place as Shea Gordon’s double moved Partick Thistle to within two points of the Ton in an agonising defeat at Firhill.
Jack Baird’s header on the hour mark gave the visitors a foothold in the game, but Gordon’s first-time finish five minutes later sealed the points for ten-man Jags to pile the pressure on David Hopkin’s side who now only have one win in five games.
