DAVID Hopkin has called on his players to put things right when they travel to Sutherland to take on Highland League side Brora Rangers in their Scottish Cup replay.

The Ton boss has urged his side to take the game to the part-timers after a poor start saw them fall behind on the half-hour mark in the reverse just over a week ago.

He knows that his players cannot afford a repeat performance if they want to progress to the next round to face St Johnstone.

He told the Tele: “Brora is a game that we could’ve done without.

“I don’t think it’s going to be a reality check going up there like some people would suggest, but it’s a game where we have to go and be professional.

“We saw how physical a side they are when they came to Cappielow and they proved that they were a good team too.

“We know how they’re going to play now, so it’s up to us to make sure that we go up there and take the game to them.

“We need to put in a performance that we know is going to get us through to the next round where a big tie against St Johnstone waits.”
