MORTON finished the year in the relegation play-off spot after ex-skipper Thomas O’Ware came back to haunt his old side at Cappielow.
Goals from Alex Jones and O’Ware saw Partick Thistle leapfrog the Ton into eighth to leave David Hopkin ruing two soft goals as his men lost at home for the second time in a row ahead of the trip to Arbroath on Saturday.
