ROBBIE Muirhead believes that the return of Bob McHugh and the emergence of Kalvin Orsi can make Morton a force to be reckoned with.

Muirhead has been in fine form recently, registering three assists in four games since his return to the first-team fold.

But he insists that with top goalscorer McHugh coming back and Orsi impressing, Morton can push on in the second half of the season as they hope to continue their fine run of form.

He hopes that he can forge a potential partnership with any of the returning forwards, despite performing admirably alongside John Sutton in their absence.

He told the Tele: “Having Bob and Kalvin back in will help bolster our attacking options and obviously help the squad out for the rest of the season.

“They both offer us something different and can score goals, so they can be a force up top along with John Sutton.

"All of them are fine players, so it will be good to play with them and maybe get a partnership going between us.

“Our aim just now is to keep our good form going for as long as we can — and they can definitely have a big part to play in that.”
