GOALKEEPER Danny Rogers should be available for Saturday’s clash with Arbroath after playing through the pain barrier against Inverness.

The Tele understands that the Irishman’s injury is not as bad as first feared after he went down and landed awkwardly in a collision with Jordan White in the 3-2 defeat at the Caledonian Stadium on Tuesday.

He was visibly struggling to walk and kick the ball, sparking fears that the knee injury that kept him out for most of last season had flared up.

The scare to Sam Ramsbottom warming up during most of the first half and half-time and it looked likely that he would come on to replace the ‘keeper, who carried on for the rest of the first half in considerable pain.

A late decision at half-time was made that Rogers would carry on for the rest of the game.

The Tele understands that the ‘keeper suffered a dead leg in the collision whilst falling and should be okay to play on Saturday when the Ton look to get back to winning ways against the Red Lichties at Cappielow.
