KILMARNOCK are set to sign Aaaron McGowan, who revealed today that he would not be renewing his contract at Hamilton Academical, as a replacement for right back Stephen O'Donnell.
McGowan moved to Hamilton from English League Two club Morecambe two years ago and has established himself as a firm fans' favourite at the Fountain of Youth Stadium since.
But the 23-year-old, who was named Player of the Year and Fans' Player of the Year at the end of the 2018/19 season, took to Twitter earlier to announce is set to move on.
The defender is poised to join Kilmarnock. Scotland player O'Donnell announced back in May that he would be leaving the Ayrshire club.
Elsewhere, Alex Gogic, the Hamilton midfielder, has attracted the interest of Hibernian.
