SOURCES close to Celtic 'insist' that French striker Odsonne Edouard will not be sold this summer, according to reports.

The former PSG forward has been linked with a move away from Parkhead this summer, with the likes of Premier League duo Arsenal and Crystal Palace keeping tabs on the 22-year-old.

Supporters of the Scottish champions have been worried that their prize asset could leave the club this summer but that is now looking less likely, with the Athletic claiming that sources close to Neil Lennon's team are adamant Edouard will not be going anywhere.

In David Ornstein's article about possible moves to keep an eye on, he writes that Palace are "monitoring Odsonne Edouard, yet sources close to Celtic insist he will not be leaving".

Speaking after his side's 3-0 win over Hibs yesterday, Lennon outlined his hope that no other players would depart Glasgow's east end this summer.

"We want to add maybe just one to the squad and keep everybody else," he said.

"It’s going to be fraught because it’s the last week of the window. There could be a lot of people scrambling for players and we are not immune to that, but we don’t want to sell.

"We don’t want to sell anybody - and I think we are quite strong on that at the minute."
