AFTER the shambles of the Queen of the South streaming presentation, it is only fair to acknowledge the massive difference in quality we witnessed, firstly against Queen's Park in the Betfred Cup and then Alloa in the Championship.

Credit where credit is due as Morton have obviously listened to the fans and fixing all the issues we encountered to give us an excellent Ton TV channel.

The presenting from both Gerry McDade and Andy Ritchie, pictured, has also been first class, therefore, all in all a massive congratulations to everyone involved as it has certainly exceeded my expectations.

As for the games themselves, we cannot argue with two wins and perhaps more surprisingly two clean sheets, even if some of that was perhaps due to woeful finishing from Alloa!

On Saturday we looked to be in total control until the impressive Josh McPake controversially got sent off and then we seemed to get deeper and deeper thus inviting the visitors to take control.

From watching on TV it did seem that we played a lot of long ball football and tire immensely and if that is actually what happened then we may be in trouble as teams will take advantage of that in the weeks ahead.

Anyway, let's enjoy the good start to the season and hopefully take confidence going into a really difficult trip to Dundee on Saturday.
