LUCA Colville has revealed harsh words were exchanged in the Morton dressing room after their draw against Dundee.

The Englishman netted his first goal of the campaign to put Ton 2-1 up but he admitted Saturday's result felt more like a defeat as Danny Mullen's equaliser denied them three crucial points.

Colville says the players made their frustrations known at full-time but he is confident they can cut out the mistakes and end their run of nine games without a victory.

He told the Tele: “I’m happy to have scored my first goal of the season. It’s been a long time coming - but it's not really the biggest thing going because it felt like a loss instead of getting a point.

“We had a bit of a go at each other after the game and rightly so because it was two points dropped, two poor goals to concede and we’ve got to sort it out.

“Sometimes that’s what’s needed and shows that people care and in the long run we’ll sort the problem out and get the three points next time around.

“We know we’re in a tough run, it’s just little mistakes that are costing us so we’ve just got to work hard to cut them out and then go on from there and make sure that we hold on to the three points."
