OVER the years I have witnessed Morton being hammered at places like Parkhead, Ibrox, Tannadice, Pittodrie, Hamilton and others when the team was embarrassed, humiliated and let the supporters down.

Lately, whilst the team has struggled for quality and been on the end of some dismal results, we at least some fight and effort.

On Saturday the team were absolutely shocking and gave the watching supporters zero to cheer about as they meekly surrendered to a much better Ayr team.

In my opinion only Aidan McAdams, Lewis Strapp and Kyle Jacobs escaped criticism as the rest of the team produced possible the worst Morton team performance in years.

Some of the players getting picked week-in, week-out would struggle to get a game in any of the five-a-side games I play in!

It is looking more and more likely that MCT will inherit a relegated club with a support who are losing interest more and more as the season drags on.

Something needs done RIGHT NOW or this club will never ever again grace the aforementioned stadiums.
