CHAMPIONSHIP football will be staying at Cappielow for another year after a double from Robbie Muirhead and Gary Oliver’s header ensured Morton won their fight for survival in style.
Two goals inside the first half — including Muirhead’s incredible long-range volley to break the deadlock — put League One counterparts Airdrie to the sword before the break.
The former Kilmarnock man added the third with 12 minutes remaining as the curtains closed on what has been a season like no other for the Greenock side.
