MORTON boss Gus MacPherson’s weekend signing drive has continued after Cameron Blues penned a new one-year-deal at Cappielow.
The 23-year-old former Livingston midfielder was brought to the club by David Hopkin in 2019.
After a spell out of the line-up he returned to the side and impressed during the play-off matches at the end of the season.
The former Falkirk youngster has been deployed further up the park recently, as opposed to the number six role given to him originally by Hopkin.
He popped up with three goals last term in victories over Queen's Park and Ayr United and the 2-2 draw against Inverness, making 20 appearances.
Now he will extend his stay at Cappielow into a third season, following Gary Oliver in agreeing a new deal announced yesterday.
