I THINK I am correct in saying that the last time we travelled through to play Hamilton Accies we returned home with a horrendous 10-2 thrashing.

It’s fair to say for those of us who witnessed that so-called 'display' it was a game we will never forget.

That very same season we somehow managed to defeat Celtic at Parkhead in another game we will likely never forget - but thankfully for all the right reasons.

Many of us travelling through to Lanarkshire on Saturday would have happily settled for a point but to get all three was a massive bonus.

Whilst we rode our luck at times I think the defence and in particular our 'keeper were excellent.

I do worry our midfield still lacks that bit of creativity and up front requires strengthening if, firstly, we want to maintain our Championship status and, secondly, perhaps for the team to challenge for the promotion play-offs.

Hopefully the four players the manager says he requires will include the above requirements as I believe this is a must-have to achieve either of those goals this season.
