PRESSURE continues to mount on Morton manager Gus MacPherson as his side’s winless run in the league stretched to seven games after top-of-the-table Inverness were gifted victory at the Caledonian Stadium.
Strikes either side of half-time from former Ross County duo Billy Mckay and Michael Gardyne saw Billy Dodds’ men go five points clear at the top of the cinch Championship, with the result leaving MacPherson’s side languishing in ninth place, now just a point ahead of Dunfermline Athletic.
