THE pressure on Morton manager Gus MacPherson eased ever so slightly after his side kicked off the second quarter with a good point on the road at Palmerston.
The woodwork proved to frustrate both sides as Robbie Muirhead and Willie Gibson both saw efforts cannon back off the crossbar and the post as goalkeepers Jack Hamilton and Solomon Brynn kept their clean sheets intact on a dreich day in Dumfries.
