GUS MacPherson and his Morton players breathed a huge sigh of relief as they got back to winning ways for the first time since August after comfortably beat Dunfermline Athletic at East End Park.
Goals either side of Gozie Ugwu’s strike from Gary Oliver were enough to make Pars youngster Matty Todd’s maiden goal for the Fifers obsolete as Ton put daylight between themselves and the bottom-of-the-table side by stretching the gap to five points, whilst leapfrogging Queen of the South into eighth in the process.
