I SUPPOSE it was inevitable that the unbeaten run under Dougie Imrie would eventually come to an end - but it was extremely disappointing that it came on Saturday against an average Hamilton side.
Watching the game was like watching the old Morton from earlier in the season as we continually huffed and puffed and lacked any creativity whatsoever.
A sizeable Morton support made our way through to Lanarkshire, but unfortunately the players gave the support very little to enthuse over in an extremely flat performance which was very much unlike what we have seen under Imrie.
Thankfully the supporters who travelled through accepted it looked like just a bad day at the office.
But the nature of this league means we are back in trouble heavily involved in a relegation battle.
