AS bad as it gets.
Those five words in my opinion totally sum up Morton’s performance on Saturday when Arbroath left Cappielow fully deserving of the three points they won.
It wasn’t as though the visitors were really good but in fact Morton were abysmal and created very little from an attacking perspective.
Once again we played as though we had only one player in attack in Jai Quitongo as the other two brought the sum total of zero to the game.
The midfield was non-existent and how one of them in particular gets in the starting 11 week after week completely baffles me.
We keep hearing the statement about making Cappielow a fortress, but after the last two home defeats we are making it too easy for teams to come and plunder an easy three points from what is becoming the opposite of a fortress.
Unfortunately, as it stands right now, the squad lacks depth in numbers and quality.
Therefore Cappielow and every other ground in the Championship will struggle to yield positive results for us and potentially lead to a long hard season ahead.
