MORTON have snapped up striker George Oakley on an 18 month deal.
The frontman, 27, joins the Cappielow club after being released by Inverness Caley and is Dougie Imrie's third capture during the January transfer window, after signing Calvin Miller and Ally Roy.
Oakley has had spells with Hamilton, Kilmarnock and Woking, plus a stint in Bulgaria.
He played alongside Ton boss Imrie at Accies.
Oakley is expected to go straight into the squad for Saturday's match against Arbroath.
