MORTON have confirmed a key player has signed a new one-year deal to stay on with the club.
Winger Jai Quitongo will remain at the Championship team until next summer, with the former Dumbarton and Queen's Park attacker on track to become the next player to make over 100 appearances for the Greenock side.

Quitongo, 25, has turned out more than 80 times for the Ton over two spells, having returned to Greenock last summer following stints elsewhere in Scotland and in Iran.
Morton previously revealed that six players will depart the club this summer - with contract offers made to a further four first team regulars, including Quitongo.

Goalkeeper Lawton Green, centre-back Efe Ambrose, full back Lewis Strapp, midfielder Reece Lyon, young striker Josh Gemmell and utility player Carlo Pignatiello are leaving Cappielow following the conclusion of the 2023/24 season.
Loan signings Brian Schwake, Ali Crawford, Ally Roy and Calum Waters are all set to return to their parent clubs, with Cappielow bosses offering Waters terms to remain at the club.
Liam Grimshaw and Calvin Miller, meanwhile, have received contract offers for next season.
