Battery Park junior parkrun, event number 106, September 10

ON a beautiful and dry Sunday morning, 28 runners took part in the latest junior parkrun.

Eleven runners achieved new PBs, there were four first-timers with us today. Fox, Tamzin and Maisie were taking part in their first ever parkrun. Daisy from FORK Runners was running in her 68th event.

Greenock Telegraph:

Junior parkrun was missing a number of regular runners as they were taking part in the Kilmacolm 3k junior race.

There was one volunteer milestone this week - run directors Sandra Campbell involved for the 50th time.

Noah Carroll was first of the boys to complete the course (08:11). With a new PB of 09:44, Sam Fulton was second. Rory Crawford, also with a new PB of 09:47, completed the top three.
