CRUISE ship guests were welcomed into the Waterfront Leisure Complex earlier this week for a special curling session.
Passengers from Disney Dream got to try their hand at the sport after the ship berthed at Greenock’s Ocean Terminal on Wednesday.
Inverclyde Leisure staff have been hard at work readying the ice rink for the new curling season and were happy to given the tourists a taste of the sport.
David McCorkindale, of Inverclyde Leisure, said: “The team laid the ice last week and I’ve got to give credit to them for getting that done.
“They also deserve praise for working with the tour operators to get the passengers down to try curling.
“It’s something a wee bit different for them to do and now we can’t wait for the season to start.”
