GREENOCK Wanderers recorded their third win on the bounce away at Tranent in what was a ding-dong clash.
Their 35-29 victory moves the Wanderers out of the relegation battle.
The line-up featured some changes.
In the forwards Graham replaced Brown and in the backs Darroch, Marturano and Harrison were all still recovering from injury.
McDaid returned to centre from a spell in the forwards and was man of the match with three tries and five conversions.
Robb in the forwards notched his usual try to maintain his top try scorer mantle, coming just after he was named the club's player of the month.
The match was always tight as both sides sought to obtain ascendancy in the end it was Wanderers who held on for a narrow victory.
Wanderers will have it tough again next week when they travel to second top Whitecraigs, but three successive wins will have given them belief that they can beat most of the teams in the National League 4.
Elsewhere the 2nd's game was cancelled as Annan could not raise a team. The Ladies match was also postponed.
Congratulations to the U16s who were crowned League Champions on Sunday.
