Greenock Network recently hosted a farewell evening for Bavarian Scouts at the Everton campsite.
Scottish and German scouts swapped neckerchiefs, recounted adventures of their two-week tour of Scotland, had a ceilidh in the dark, and enjoyed traditions of both cultures, including a mini Highland Games and a local German dinner.
After returning to Germany, the 55 Bavarian Scouts plan to reconnect with the Greenock Network for an explorer belt expedition next summer.
Additionally, the first rehearsal of the year for the Greenock Scout Gangshow took place this week, with scouts from various age groups participating.
