THIRTY-THREE junior runners and 16 volunteers braved some atrocious weather conditions to tackle Battery Park's latest junior parkrun.

Brave Zoe, Ruairidh and Rowan participated for the first time, even as the event marked its 150th run amidst strong winds and heavy rains.

Several competitors beat their personal bests this week, with new records set by Cadhlea, Lucy, Blair, Cora and Rowan.

The day also saw milestone runs - Alice completed her 11th run, Ruairidh his 21st, and Luke his impressive 50th.
