A Kilmacolm school has inked on a three-year sponsorship journey with a local rugby club.
The partnership between Birkmyre RFC and St Columba's School extends to both the mini and senior sections of the club.
Until late spring in 2027, the school’s emblem will be featured on the mini players' kit and the club's post protectors.
Additionally, the logo will be seen on components of the 1st XV's training and match day attire.
This sponsorship builds on existing collaborations between the school and rugby club, especially in nurturing U16 rugby talent.
Numerous Birkmyre players also participate in the school team and train with them.
The club expressed gratitude to Ms Reilly, the school rector, and Mr Gordi Reid, director of sport and PE, for their support.
Mr Reid said: “Many of our successful rugby players started their journey at Birkmyre Minis before they came to St Columba’s.
“We are delighted to be sponsoring Birkmyre Rugby Club which brings rich opportunities both to our school and local communities.
“It has been great to see how well the Birkmyre boys have integrated into the School set up and also how many former pupils are now representing the Club 1st XV, who went on to win their league last season.
''A main goal of our extra curricular programme is to encourage senior pupils to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle and remain in sport as they leave the School.
“Birkmyre provides that opportunity on our doorstep."
